Fader places a high value on the privacy of Fader users and ownership. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information.

In the course of signing up for Fader, we ask you to provide us with your name and email address. We use this information to provide access to Fader. If you agreed, we also use this information to contact you for Fader’s newsletter.

As a third-party analytics tool, we currently use Google Analytics. We do this to understand your use of Fader, so that we can optimize the service. Google Analytics collects information sent by your device, which include:

  • location information
  • device information

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside of Fader without your consent, except as noted in this Privacy Policy.

Any Information or content that you voluntarily disclose for publishing, such as your VR stories, becomes available to the public. Once you have made your VR story public, it may be re-shared by others.

If you remove scenes or assets that you published to your VR story, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if other users or third parties have copied or saved that information.

If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of Fader or our assets to another organization (e.g., during a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your, content and any other information collected through Fader may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your content. The buyer or transferee will be contractually required to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

Instances where we may be required to share your information:

Fader will disclose your Information where required to do so by law or by judicial process or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement,
  • Enforce our Terms of Service,
  • Protect the security or integrity of Fader,
  • Exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Fader, our users or others.
